Babies, of course, warm my heart and help me to remember our baby girls when they were brand new. It makes me think about what a miracle it is bringing life to a new little being. It makes me grateful for the wonderful blessings we all have. They just make me smile!!!

These guys have worked very hard to grow and get strong. They arrived at around 3 lbs each and are now at a little over 7 lbs… still on monitors, but thriving. OK, so mom & dad said H (on the right) was the persnickety one and C was the chill one. Well, I guess it’s like when they’re older – so different for other…s – you can’t tell it here, but C on the left was awake and a bit fussy and H was crashed the entire session.

I have been MIA for a while waiting on the new website. I have been having fun the last month or so working on marketing plans for the year (I work with retail partners, print advertising, high school senior plans and lots of other fun things), going to seminars and just gearing up for 2010. I played with lots of newborns – so fun – and have been shooting outside for a few weeks now (pollen -yuck!). Hopefully the flu, ear infection and general creeping crud season is over. It’s time for baseball, soccer, swimming and time for everyone to come out of hibernation. It’s weird to see how much my neighbors kids have grown in the last few months when I haven’t seen everyone coming and going.

I’m going to catch up on some of the cuties I have been playing with…

Do you have a love / hate relationship with technology?! I am in my LOVE phase. I have completely switched over to Mac from PC (hate phase). This was quite a process, but now I’m enjoying my “stuff” instead of crying and wanting to throw it out the window (check back next week, right =). I know my husband will enjoy not getting my panic calls interrupting a meeting because my screen just went “blue” or I just got a **#$@% ** error message.

Anyway, I’m finally able to use lots of the fun software that my PC didn’t seem to like.

I don’t think Shalane will mind if I call them “my” babies. I have photographed them since Jack was as big as his new baby sister. It’s so fun to watch them grow and see their personalities change – and I never had to change a diaper or wipe a nose!

Wow, that’s the way to get the baby weight off – have lots of babies back to back – shew!
