My new baby…

I don’t think Shalane will mind if I call them “my” babies. I have photographed them since Jack was as big as his new baby sister. It’s so fun to watch them grow and see their personalities change - and I never had to change a diaper or wipe a nose!
Wow, that’s the way to get the baby weight off - have lots of babies back to back - shew!
Holy Communion…

Isn’t she beautiful? The baby of the family, such a precious day.
Hayes Hitzeman Foundation
The annual State of the Art Ball was last night - what a great event!
As many of you know I have been intimately involved in this foundation for several years now. My friend, Kyra Oliver, lost her son Hayes to SIDS in 2002 at 4 months old. Our goal is to save babies by sending parents home from the hospital with onsies that say “this side up while sleeping” in an effort to educate parents - check out the website, it explains things much better than I can - http://www.hayeshitzemanfoundation.org/.
If you’ve been feeling that you would like to give your time and/or talents to an organization that is meaningful to you, please let me know. I got to know Kyra, donated my services and decided I liked the feeling of contributing to something meaningful…
Jacques Moore, of Moore Cadillac/Hummer was the Honorary Chair this year. The theme was “Maui at Midnight Baby!” - so fun!!

Yay, new blog!!!
Wow, this took way longer than I thought (and hoped).
Instead of maintaing the website and blog separately I decided to put it all together….
